St. Patrick's Day may be on Monday, but the celebrations are already underway! You can go green in more than one way with these home tips:
Go green in florals: Sometimes the best greenery is simply that – greenery. Try filling vases with fresh leaves and branches. Or go with green flowers like that favorite and oh so apropos example: lanky stems of bells of Ireland.
Paint a room green: Green has come a long way from the days when avocado appliances were all the rage. There’s a whole palette of greens available now that feel soothing to vibrant. Choose mint, celery and sage for a calming effect, or rock a room in trendy lime or Chartreuse.
Go green in the kitchen: A salad doesn’t have to be the only green thing in the kitchen. Try painting your cabinets green. It’s calming and will give the space a fresh, vibrant feel. Try shades like Fresh Cut Grass or Sherwood Green by Benjamin Moore ( benjaminmoore.com).
